The app · coming to iOS & Android

The running app built for Seoul.

Built by a Seoul runner, for Seoul runners. Ten years of learning this city, turned into an app.

One email the morning it launches. No spam, the occasional route.

Free. Launching in August.

The daily question

Is today a good day to run?

Heat, humidity, air quality, wind and dew point, folded into one score. Some mornings the answer is five o’clock. Some days the answer is no.

What the run actually needs.

The routes worth running, already found.

01Routes

The routes worth running, already found.

Hand-picked routes I guide runners on every week, plus the most popular routes drawn from 11,638 real runs across Seoul. New routes land regularly.

02On the map

Water, toilets and a CU, before you need them.

Water fountains, public toilets and convenience stores on the map, called out as you come up on them. Plan a long run around the taps. It all works offline.

Sketch a line. It snaps to the paths runners use.

03Build your own

Sketch a line. It snaps to the paths runners use.

Tap out a line and it snaps to Seoul streets and paths, weighted toward the ones runners actually take. Drag to fix, follow it turn by turn. A route builder that just works.

Your routes. Your rivals.

Compete every week on the routes you actually run, against the handful who run them too. Put a time down, defend it, and keep a quiet contest going with your friends.

Who made it

Built by someone who runs here.

I am Quintin. I have run this city for a decade, in every season it throws at you. I built the app I kept wishing somebody else would build. Now I use it every day.

Questions.

Is it free?

Yes. Download it, find a route, record your run.

iPhone and Android?

Both. The app launches on the Apple App Store and Google Play together.

Do I need an account?

Only to put a time on a leaderboard or follow a friend. Routes, the weather score and run recording work signed out.

Does it work offline?

Yes. Routes, offline maps and the nearest water, toilet and convenience store keep working when the signal dies in a river underpass.

How accurate is the tracking?

Very. Distance and pace come off the corrected GPS track, and elevation comes from the phone’s barometer, not raw GPS.

Where do the routes come from?

Every route starts with 11,638 real Seoul runs and gets checked before it lands in the app. The featured ones are the routes I guide runners on and run myself.

Does it work outside Seoul?

The curated routes and on-map water and toilets are Seoul, for now. Everything else works wherever you run, and the race calendar covers all of Korea.

What about my watch, or Strava?

Every route and run exports as GPX for Strava, Garmin Connect or anything else you use.

What do you do with my location?

It records your run on your phone and scores your weather. It is never shown to other runners. Your location data is always private.

When does it launch?

August. Join the waitlist and the download link lands in your inbox the morning it goes live.
