Fastest: delete in the app
Open the app and go to Me → Delete account. This deletes your account immediately after confirmation.
Request deletion here
No longer have the app installed? Send a deletion request with the email address your account uses. We email that address to check the request really came from you. Nothing is deleted until you reply. Reply to confirm, and the deletion is completed within 5 days.
You can also simply email quintin@runwithmeseoul.com from your account address with the subject "Delete my account". We reply to that address to confirm before anything is deleted, and the 5 days run from your answer.
What gets deleted, what remains
- Deleted (immediately in the app, within 5 days of your reply to our email): your account details, run recordings, drawn and saved routes, ratings, reports and leaderboard entries.
- Backups: database backups are kept on a rolling 7-day cycle, so deleted data can remain in a backup for about 7 days. Run summaries, including a simplified route line, are in those backups; the full GPS track files are not.
- Retained: anonymous aggregate route statistics (such as how many runners completed a route) that no longer identify you, and records the law requires to be kept.
