Private guided run
A private run through Seoul, start to finish.
One runner showing another runner the city. We meet before it gets busy and run the route that fits you: the Han River path, a climb up Namsan, or the backstreets you would not find on your own. We finish with a coffee. One to five people, your pace, never a stranger added in.

What you get
A guided run, not a tour bus.
This is a run. We move, we talk, we stop when something is worth stopping for. Here is what comes with it.
- A guide who actually runs this city. Me, every time, never a stand-in.
- A route picked for you: your distance, your pace, the parts of Seoul you want.
- The local knowledge. Working water fountains, bathrooms, where to start, what to skip.
- Photos along the way, if you want them.
- A coffee or breakfast spot sorted for the finish.
- Timing that bends around your trip, not the other way round.
Your run, your effort
Pick the pace before we start.
We agree the shape of the run when we meet. Most mornings land in one of these three.
-
Easy / first morning
A relaxed effort with photos. Good for jet-lagged legs or an easy first lap along the Han.
-
Steady
A real run with fewer stops, and riverside stretches long enough to open up on.
-
Session
You've a race coming up and we do the work. I know the flat, fast, uninterrupted stretches.
Where we might run
From a riverside loop to a full-city epic.
Every private run is built to your distance. These are the routes I run most, short to long. Pick one, mix two, or tell me a number and I will shape a morning around it.
- 7.1 km Namsan Mountain Namsan, Jung-gu
- 8.6 km Yeouido Goguma Loop Yeouido
- 8.7 km The Puppy Run Gwanghwamun & the palaces
- 12–28 km Mangwon · Han River · Seonyudo Mapo, along the Han
- 20.2 km Seoul City Wall Trail Hanyangdoseong
Want to go long? The Mangwon riverside route stretches past 28 km, and I will plan a custom run beyond that if an ultra is your thing. Training for a race? The Seoul race calendar has what is coming up.
Make it a whole morning
The run is the middle of it.
Add any of these and a workout turns into the best part of the trip. Tell me what sounds good and I will build it in.
-
Coffee
+20 minA proper cafe at the finish. Seoul takes its coffee seriously, and so do I.
-
Market
+30 minA wander through a market like Mangwon or Gwangjang while it sets up for the day.
-
Breakfast
+45 minSit down for a real Korean breakfast. Gukbap, kimbap, whatever you are curious about.
-
The long version
A full dayWant to make a day of it? I can point you at the food-and-soju version for the evening.

How a custom run works
- 1 Tell me your goals, distance, pace, and where you're staying in the note below.
- 2 I design a route around all of it and email you a plan with a price.
- 3 I run the exact route the day before so everything is right on your day.
No date needed yet , we lock the day together once the plan is set.
Prefer a friendlier price and do not mind sharing the morning? See the small-group run.
Good questions
Before you book.
-
Do I need to be a fast or experienced runner?
No. We run at your pace, not mine. Plenty of guests use the easy option for a relaxed first morning. If you can jog a few kilometers, you can do this.
-
How many people will be on the run?
On a private run, just you and anyone you bring. One to five people, no strangers added in. Want a friendlier price and do not mind sharing the morning? The small-group run is capped at five.
-
What should I bring?
Running clothes and shoes, mostly. A phone if you want photos. Water and the coffee stop are sorted. Seoul summers are humid, so we start early and keep it sensible.
-
Is the run in English?
Yes, in English. In Korean too if you would prefer, or a mix. If the conversation is the main thing you are after, the Run & Talk sessions are built around exactly that.
-
What if it rains?
Light rain, we usually still run. Heavy weather, we reschedule at no charge. Seoul gets a real monsoon in mid-summer, and I will be honest with you about it. You can check the Seoul running weather before we settle on a morning.
-
How far ahead should I book?
A few days is plenty. Sometimes next-day works. The sooner you message, the easier it is to find your morning.
